The Role
As an Early Career Supply Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging lessons across your chosen year groups
- Support pupils to achieve their full potential in inclusive learning environments
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with additional needs
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and school leaders
- Follow school policies and procedures
- Leave clear handovers for the class teacher at the end of each placement
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be due to achieve QTS
- Be passionate about supporting primary-aged pupils
- Have excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Be willing to work across a variety of school settings
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to transport, as travel between schools across Norwich and surrounding areas will be required
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
