Art Teacher – Part-Time (2 Roles Available) Truro, Cornwall | September Start

Teaching Personnel are working with a well-established school in the Truro area who are seeking two passionate and skilled Art Teachers to join their team from September. These are part-time, permanent opportunities, each working 3 days per week (0.6 FTE), delivering Art across different age ranges.

Available Roles

  • Role 1: Teaching Art to Years 3–8 (fixed-term maternity cover)
  • Role 2: Teaching Art to Years 9–11 (permanent position)

Both positions offer the chance to inspire creativity, confidence and critical thinking within a supportive and close-knit school environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience teaching Art across primary and/or secondary age groups, including KS4 / GCSE
  • Deliver engaging, imaginative lessons that inspire creativity
  • Build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
  • Communicate clearly and work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisation
  • Be flexible, proactive and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
