We are looking for individuals to support students between KS2 and GCSE in core subjects: English, Maths, and Science.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing engaging and effective 1-to-1 tuition in English, Maths, and/or Science outside of the mainstream school environment.
- Focusing on strengthening understanding and building confidence in these key subject areas.
- Developing and implementing tailored lesson plans to meet the individual learning needs and goals of each student.
- Creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment that fosters academic growth.
- Potentially supporting students with exam preparation and revision strategies.
What we're looking for:
- Strong knowledge and a passion for English, Maths, and/or Science.
- Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, or holding an equivalent qualification in education or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
- The ability to create engaging and accessible learning materials relevant to the core subjects.
- A current DBS certificate and willingness to subscribe to the Update Service.
