Teaching Personnel are working with a number of supportive and high‑achieving schools across South West London who are seeking Core Subject Teachers (English, Maths, Science) for September starts. These roles are ideal for confident, passionate educators who are comfortable teaching across primary and potentially lower secondary years, and who are looking for consistent, full‑time opportunities in welcoming school environments.

Local area: South West London

Start date: September 2026 (immediate opportunities)

Daily rate: £170‑£250 per day (PAYE – no umbrella companies)

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in English, Maths, or Science.
  • Adapt teaching to suit pupils across KS1, KS2, and potentially KS3.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess progress and tailor lessons to meet individual learning needs.
  • Promote high standards of behaviour, attainment, and engagement.
  • Support pupils of varying abilities, including those with additional needs.
  • Contribute to wider school life and collaborate with colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Hold QTS (essential).
  • Have experience teaching English, Maths, or Science within UK schools.
  • Be confident working across primary and/or early secondary levels.
  • Be seeking full‑time, consistent teaching opportunities.
  • Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Be committed to delivering high‑quality education and supporting all learners.
  • Bring professionalism, energy, and a positive attitude to the school environment.
  • Be fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
