We are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist educational provision in Littlehampton that supports boys aged 8–16 (Years 4–11) with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties (SEBD). This setting offers a nurturing and structured environment where students are supported to grow both academically and personally. The school places a strong emphasis on building positive relationships, helping pupils develop confidence, resilience, and the skills needed to become responsible individuals.
The Role
This is a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate and resilient individual to support students in their day-to-day learning and development. You will work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to provide tailored support that meets each young person’s needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide classroom and one-to-one support for students
- Assist with the delivery of engaging, differentiated lessons
- Support positive behaviour management strategies
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children or young people with additional needs (particularly SEMH/SEBD)

- The ability to remain calm and consistent in challenging situations
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people
Desirable (but not essential):
- Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or youth work
- Experience within specialist or alternative provision settings
