We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs across schools in Doncaster, with opportunities to travel to Rotherham and Barnsley.
The Role
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties.
- Support pupils both academically and emotionally, helping them reach their full potential.
- Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored support strategies.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based experience preferred).
- A calm, patient, and nurturing approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel to schools across Doncaster, Rotherham, and Barnsley.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
