A welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Clitheroe is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Music to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis from September 2026 through to December 2026.
The Role
- You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop their creativity, confidence, and appreciation for music.
- The successful candidate will contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities such as choirs, bands, or performances where possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver dynamic and inclusive music lessons
- Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress
- Contribute to extracurricular music activities and school events
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting
