Agency: Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated KS1 Primary Teacher to work within a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Barry area from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced teachers and NQT's looking to join a nurturing school environment where pupil wellbeing and high-quality teaching are at the heart of everything they do.
The Role:
- Full-time KS1 class teacher position
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, staff and parents
- Promoting positive behaviour and safeguarding at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have recent experience teaching within a primary school setting
- Have experience working with ALN pupils
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
- Be enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to raising attainment
- Have an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
