Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

Pay: £172.98 per day (paid weekly)

About the School

This welcoming two-form entry primary school in the CF23 area offers both mainstream education and a dedicated wellbeing base, supporting a wide range of pupil needs. The year group for this role is flexible and will be determined based on the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and strengths.

The Role

  • We are looking for a passionate and committed Class Teacher who will:
  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner, continuously striving to improve teaching and learning
  • Set high expectations to ensure all pupils reach their full potential
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of Additional Learning Needs (ALN) to support inclusive practice
  • Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with parents, carers, staff, governors, and external professionals
  • Implement effective and positive behaviour management strategies
  • Contribute as part of a dedicated and supportive team
  • Use innovative resources, including ICT, to enhance learning
  • Uphold and promote the school’s values and ethos
  • Show a strong understanding of Curriculum for Wales and its impact on teaching and learning
  • Take an active role in whole school life
