Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with an outstanding primary school in Atherton to appoint an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant for an immediate start. This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent opportunity for the right educator. The school has an open vacancy and is keen to meet proactive, confident Teaching Assistants with strong experience supporting pupils within a primary school setting, including those with additional needs.

Role details:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant
  • Full-time position - ASAP start
  • Temporary initially, with the opportunity to become permanent
  • Support across EYFS / KS1 / KS2 (depending on experience)
  • Pay between £100 - £115 per week

The role will involve:

  • Assisting the class teacher in creating and maintaining a purposeful, safe, and supportive learning environment
  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis to aid learning and development
  • Promoting the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring equal access to learning opportunities
  • Supporting children with SEND, behavioural, or additional learning needs where required
  • Upholding safeguarding responsibilities and promoting the welfare of children at all times

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Have recent experience working within a primary school
  • Be confident, adaptable, and committed to supporting pupils to reach their full potential
