Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming primary school in Hindley to recruit an experienced Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant for an immediate start. This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent opportunity within a supportive and nurturing Early Years provision situated on the site of an excellent primary school. The school is keen to meet with passionate Early Years practitioners who have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework, child development, and learning through play.

Role details

  • Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant
  • Full-time role
  • ASAP start
  • Temporary initially, with the opportunity to become permanent
  • Based within EYFS (Nursery / Reception)

The role will involve:

  • Supporting the class teacher in the delivery of the EYFS curriculum
  • Helping to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
  • Working with children on a 1:1 and small-group basis to support learning, communication, and social development
  • Contributing to observations, assessments, and progress tracking in line with EYFS expectations
  • Supporting children with additional needs, including SEND and speech & language development
  • Promoting safeguarding and the welfare of children at all times

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a recognised Level 3 Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Have recent experience within an Early Years setting (Nursery or Reception)
  • Be caring, patient, and enthusiastic, with a child-centred approach
  • Be open to a temp-to-perm opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role within a supportive primary school, with the potential to move into a permanent position. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
