About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Behaviour Specialist to support pupils within SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) schools in Skelmersdale. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver targeted behaviour support strategies for students with SEMH needs
- Provide 1:1 and small group interventions
- Support the implementation of behaviour management plans and risk assessments
- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and progress
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
- Monitor, record, and report on pupil behaviour and progress
- Support de-escalation and promote emotional regulation techniques

Requirements
- Previous experience in SEMH, SEN, or alternative provision settings (preferred)
- Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, youth work, or similar (desirable)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
