Location: Chesterfield, S42
Pay Rate: £25 - £30 per hour
Hours: Part-Time, Monday to Friday, during school hours

TP Tutors is seeking a motivated and dedicated 1:1 Core Subject Tutor to support pupils in the Chesterfield area. This rewarding role involves delivering tailored tuition in English, Maths, and Science, helping students overcome learning barriers, build confidence, and achieve their academic potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and personalised 1:1 tuition sessions in core subjects.
- Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
- Adapt learning materials and teaching strategies to meet individual needs and learning styles.
- Develop personalised learning plans and monitor student progress.
- Maintain accurate session records and provide feedback where required.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, families, schools, and other professionals involved in the student's education.
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
- Experience teaching or tutoring English, Maths, and/or Science.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to engage, motivate, and support learners on a 1:1 basis.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
