Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging one-to-one tuition in core primary subjects.
  • Plan lessons that meet the pupil’s individual learning needs.
  • Support academic progress while developing confidence and independence.
  • Create a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment.
  • Record progress and provide feedback following each session.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with primary-aged children.
  • A teaching qualification, tutoring experience, or relevant educational background.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs.
  • Experience delivering intervention programmes or catch-up tuition.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
