SEN Teaching Assistant – Full Time (Term Time Only)

Wilmslow, Cheshire East

Salary: £22,996 – £25,068 (dependent on experience & qualifications)

Hours: 40 hours per week | Term Time Only

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

The setting supports up to 50 children and young people aged 5–19 with Autism Spectrum Conditions and associated needs, offering a calm, structured, and nurturing environment where pupils can truly thrive.

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a passionate and supportive team. You’ll play a vital role in helping pupils feel safe, supported, and confident while supporting their learning and development throughout the school day.

Requirements

  • GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C / Level 3 or above)
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (paid or voluntary)
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Level 2+ qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning
  • Knowledge of SEN, SEMH, or ASD
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

All successful applicants will be subject to enhanced safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
