About the Role

As a Trainee Teacher, you will gain hands-on experience within a supportive school environment, developing the skills, confidence, and classroom practice required for a successful teaching career. Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting teaching and learning within the classroom.
• Delivering targeted interventions to individuals and small groups.
• Providing subject-specialist support linked to your degree or area of expertise.
• Working alongside experienced teachers and school leaders.
• Leading lessons and covering classes in the absence of the class teacher.
• Supporting pupil progress, engagement, and behaviour.
• Developing your understanding of planning, assessment, and classroom management.
