We are seeking an enthusiastic educator to join a welcoming secondary school in Lytham St Annes, delivering high-quality Chemistry lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Plan, prepare and assess student work to support academic progress.

  • Monitor and report on student attainment and behaviour.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
  • The Ideal Candidate
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Specialism in Chemistry or a related Science subject.
  • Experience teaching Chemistry within a secondary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • A passion for inspiring young people and raising achievement.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
