Whether you’re an experienced Cover Supervisor, an aspiring teacher, or a graduate looking to gain classroom experience, we’re currently recruiting Cover Supervisors / Unqualified Teachers to work across Wickford, Billericay, Basildon and Southend. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in education while working in a variety of supportive school settings.

The Role:

  • Deliver pre‑planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Support pupils with their work and encourage engagement
  • Work across a range of subjects and year groups (mainly KS3 & KS4)

We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with young people (schools, tutoring, coaching, youth work, etc.)
  • Confident classroom presence and good behaviour management skills
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • A flexible and reliable approach to work
  • Graduates, aspiring teachers, or those with prior classroom experience are welcome

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
