1:1 Tutors Needed – Maths & English – Chatham & Surrounding Areas
Are you an experienced educator looking for rewarding, flexible work that truly makes a difference? Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with local authorities to provide 1:1 tuition for pupils not currently accessing mainstream education (EOTAS). We are looking for passionate and patient tutors to deliver tailored support in Maths and English across Chatham and nearby areas. These pupils often have SEND and/or SEMH needs, and your role will be vital in helping them re-engage with learning through personalised, compassionate teaching.
You will be planning and delivering individualised catch-up programmes, primarily for secondary aged pupils, though these students are often working below age-related expectations. This is an ideal role for teachers seeking flexibility, control over their workload, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives.

What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent professional teaching qualifications

- Experience supporting SEND or SEMH pupils (desirable but not essential)
- The ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs
