Reception Teacher (QTS) – Waderslade, Chatham
Start Date: September | Contract: Long-term | Pay: MPS/UPS (paid to scale)
A primary school in Waderslade is seeking a Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team from September. This is a full-time, long-term position offered via Teaching Personnel, with the possibility of a permanent contract for the successful candidate.
The school is looking for a teacher who can deliver high-quality EYFS provision, support early development, and contribute positively to the wider school environment.
Role details:
- Full-time Reception Teacher role

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the EYFS framework
- Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with support staff and parents
- Contribute to the wider school community
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience in EYFS or Key Stage 1 (EYFS preferred)
- Strong understanding of early years curriculum and assessment
- Good classroom and behaviour management skills
- Reliable and committed to a long-term role
