Teaching Personnel are thrilled to be teaming up with a wonderfully welcoming secondary school in Carmarthen! We’re on the lookout for passionate individuals to join from September 2026, supporting students aged 11–16. Whether it’s helping in the classroom, supporting pupils with additional learning needs, or getting stuck into school life, no two days will be the same.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting children or young people
- A background in coaching, education, mentoring, support work, youth work or similar
- Patience, empathy, resilience, and a positive, reliable attitude
- A genuine interest in supporting children with additional learning needs
- A willingness to learn, grow, and develop new skills
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Education Workforce Regulation registration (EWC)
- Aged 18 and over
- Level 2 Safeguarding Course as part of your onboarding with us
- A minimum of 2 professional based references covering a 24‑month period of employment (or equivalent)
