We’re looking for a Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming, inclusive 2-form entry primary school in CF24, Cardiff. About the Role
You’ll be supporting a Year 1 class, working closely with the class teacher to create a positive, engaging learning environment. You’ll assist with classroom activities, small group work, and targeted interventions to help pupils meet their learning goals. We’re particularly looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting pupils with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) or additional learning needs
- Can deliver or assist with intervention programmes for literacy, numeracy, or social skills
- Is calm, patient, and nurturing, with excellent communication skills

- Works well as part of a supportive team but can also show initiative and independence

The Ideal Candidate
