We’re looking for a Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming, inclusive 2-form entry primary school in CF24, Cardiff. About the Role

You’ll be supporting a Year 1 class, working closely with the class teacher to create a positive, engaging learning environment. You’ll assist with classroom activities, small group work, and targeted interventions to help pupils meet their learning goals. We’re particularly looking for someone who:

The Ideal Candidate

You’ll have prior experience working in a Key Stage 1 setting and feel confident supporting pupils with additional needs, particularly ASD. You’ll be adaptable, energetic, and committed to helping every child reach their potential — academically, socially, and emotionally.
