We are seeking an experienced, confident and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school for the full academic year from September. This role will be based within a mixed Year 4/5/6 class. The class is lively, energetic and full of personality, providing an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, thrives in a busy environment and isn't afraid to get fully involved in school life from day one.
The successful candidate will be able to quickly establish positive relationships with pupils, provide consistent support and bring a calm, proactive presence to the classroom. The school seeks a Teaching Assistant who is confident using initiative, can adapt to different situations and is happy to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
- Be confident supporting pupils across Key Stage 2
- Have excellent behaviour management skills
