Welsh Medium Primary Teachers Wanted for September 2026! Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Welsh Medium Primary Teachers to work in a variety of welcoming and supportive Welsh‑medium primary schools across Cardiff from September 2026. Whether you're an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge or an NQT ready to begin your teaching journey, we have flexible opportunities available to suit your needs.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons through the medium of Welsh.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Plan, prepare and assess pupils' progress in line with the Curriculum for Wales.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff, parents and carers to support pupil development.
  • Opportunities available across Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Fluent Welsh speaker with the ability to teach through the medium of Welsh.
  • Experience working within primary education.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
