Teaching Personnel is partnering with welcoming secondary schools across Cardiff to find enthusiastic, adaptable people to step into Cover Supervisor and Sports Support Assistant roles.
What You'll Be Doing:- Delivering pre-planned lessons across subjects including English, Maths, Science, Humanities, PE, DT, Art, Computing, and MFL
- Supervising classes in a teacher's absence, keeping students engaged and behaviour positive
- Supporting PE lessons, extracurricular activities, and after-school sports clubs
- Creating inclusive, energetic environments for learners of all abilities
- Building strong relationships with students, teachers, and school staff
- Real classroom and sports leadership experience in a secondary school setting
- Flexible hours that fit around your studies or other commitments
- Ongoing support and guidance from experienced education consultants
- Help obtaining an Enhanced DBS Certificate
- Studying towards, or holding, a degree (any subject — sports-related degrees a bonus)
- A genuine interest in education, coaching, or youth development
- Confident, proactive, and adaptable communication skills
- Coaching, leadership, or mentoring experience is welcome but not essential
- PE or Sports students needing placement hours
