Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for 6 Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of welcoming schools throughout Cardiff from September 2026. We have a mixture of opportunities available, including:
- 4 Full-Time Teaching Assistant positions
- 2 Part-Time Teaching Assistant positions
- Most roles running for the full academic year
- Opportunities within Primary school settings
- Positions supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, within small groups, and across whole-class environments
We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people through the Welsh language.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be fluent in Welsh and confident communicating through the medium of Welsh
- Have experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)
- Be patient, supportive, and committed to helping pupils achieve their potential
- Be able to build positive relationships with staff, pupils, and parents
- Hold, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS check
