Are you a caring and enthusiastic Primary School Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in a lovely local primary school? We are working closely with a friendly, welcoming primary school in Cardiff that is seeking a flexible Teaching Assistant to provide general classroom support on a part time basis. You can choose the days you work, which is ideal if you are looking to balance work with other commitments.
The Role
- Support teaching and learning in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
- Work with groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning and promote progress.
- Assist with preparing resources and supporting planned activities.
- Help maintain a calm, purposeful classroom with positive behaviour management.
- Work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure continuity for pupils.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Is patient, nurturing and able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
- Good communication skills and a proactive, flexible approach.
- Experience working with children in a primary school setting is desirable, but not essential.
