Teaching Personnel Cardiff is currently seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to support pupils on a 1:1 basis within a welcoming primary school in the Ely area of Cardiff. This is a rewarding opportunity for passionate and patient individuals who have experience supporting children with additional learning needs (ALN), behavioural needs, or those requiring tailored educational support.

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil throughout the school day.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and ALN team to implement individual support plans.
  • Build positive relationships that help pupils feel safe, engaged, and confident in school.
  • Support learning, social development, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Encourage independence while adapting support to meet individual needs.

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school is required. Experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis or with additional learning needs is highly desirable. A calm, patient, and nurturing approach is essential, along with excellent communication and teamwork skills. A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential is necessary.
