About the Role

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Primary Teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to work across a range of welcoming schools in Cardiff and surrounding areas. Whether you are an experienced teacher or just starting your career, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience across Foundation Phase, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, while developing your skills in a supportive environment. For ECTs, placements can contribute towards your ECT/NQT induction. You’ll deliver engaging, high-quality lessons, support pupils of varying abilities, and play a key role in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. We offer excellent flexibility, with opportunities ranging from short-term supply to long-term placements, allowing you to work in a way that suits your lifestyle.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • Passion for high-quality teaching and learning
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Flexible, reliable, and committed
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Welsh‑speaking skills are desirable but not essential
