About the School
This welcoming two-form entry primary school in the CF23 area offers both mainstream education and a dedicated wellbeing base, supporting a wide range of pupil needs. The year group for this role is flexible and will be determined based on the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and strengths.
The Role
- We are looking for a passionate and committed Class Teacher who will:
- Be an excellent classroom practitioner, continuously striving to improve teaching and learning
- Set high expectations to ensure all pupils reach their full potential
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Additional Learning Needs (ALN) to support inclusive practice
- Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment
- Work collaboratively with parents, carers, staff, governors, and external professionals
- Implement effective and positive behaviour management strategies
- Contribute as part of a dedicated and supportive team
- Use innovative resources, including ICT, to enhance learning
- Uphold and promote the school’s values and ethos
- Show a strong understanding of Curriculum for Wales and its impact on teaching and learning
- Take an active role in whole school life
