The Cardiff Primary Branch match talented educators with schools, recruiting for a variety of education staff on a permanent and fixed term basis, including qualified teachers, teaching assistants, graduates and aspiring teachers. Teaching Personnel are on an exciting journey of growth and we are looking for a driven and talented Candidate Consultant to be part of our Permanent Workforce Team, to work in conjunction with our supply teams and Business Development team.
The Cardiff Primary Branch
Our Cardiff Primary branch is one of our largest and most successful teams. We are currently a team of 6 looking to grow to 7! We are now looking to expand once again and are moving into a larger office so that we can continue to build the team and create opportunities for our more senior Recruitment Consultants.
Within Teaching Personnel\’s Cardiff office, we pride ourselves on creating a supportive, productive, and collaborative environment. Whilst the first few months of any new role can present a wide range of challenges, this is made a lot easier here with the consistent and knowledgeable support of your experienced colleagues.
The Role
As a Candidate Consultant at Teaching Personnel, you are the essential link between our educators (candidates) and clients, ensuring we can meet their staffing needs. You are not required to have experience in this career previously, so long as you bring your energy and willingness to learn to the table. You will join a thriving team covering the UK both at school and Trust level and will support an experienced team of recruiters and have the opportunity for career development and progression – and we will be right there, supporting and cheering you on.
Should you choose to accept it, your mission will be to:
- Create and publish job adverts, use social media and job boards, connect with universities and colleges to source the best education staff for our schools.
- Interview Educators and guide them through our stringent vetting process
- Proactively communicate with branches and candidates regarding vetting and registration
- Be organised and able to manage a pipeline of candidates who will go on to work for the Swansea Team
