Teaching Personnel are working closely with a range of supportive and inclusive schools across Cambridgeshire to recruit experienced SEND Teaching Assistants for both full-time and part-time roles. We are supporting schools with short-term and long-term staffing needs, working with pupils who have a variety of additional needs including SEND and SEMH. These roles are ideal for Teaching Assistants who are passionate about making a difference and have the experience to confidently support pupils with additional needs. A full UK driving licence is desirable due to the range of school locations, but not essential.
The Role
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
- Support pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored and inclusive learning
- Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Help create a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment
A Typical Day May Include
