Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a high‑performing secondary school and sixth form in Cambridge to recruit an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of Business and Economics.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward‑thinking and inclusive 11–18 school with a thriving sixth form provision. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive and collaborative department, teaching across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
Responsibilities
- Teach Business and Economics across KS4 and KS5
- Plan and deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons aligned with departmental schemes of work
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress in line with school policies
- Contribute to curriculum development and the improvement of teaching resources
- Act as a form tutor, supporting the academic progress and pastoral wellbeing of students
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all abilities
- Engage fully in wider school life, including enrichment and extracurricular activities

Qualifications
- Hold a degree in a relevant subject and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching through initial teacher training or as a qualified teacher
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for Business and Economics
- Are committed to high standards of teaching and learning
- Have excellent organisational, communication and classroom management skills
- Are reflective practitioners with a drive for continuous improvement
- Build strong relationships and inspire students of all abilities
