We are mostly seeking Teaching Assistants who are looking for part‑time, day‑to‑day supply roles within schools and are looking for a more flexible working lifestyle. What to expect as a Teaching Assistant?
- Help teachers prepare lesson materials
- Set up and tidy classrooms for lessons
- Work with students on a 1:1 or small group basis, supporting their learning
- Watch, record and report the progress students make
- Look after children who are upset or unwell
- Lead classes with help from the teacher
Would you be the right fit?
- Previous experience in a UK school is advantageous
- Friendly, confident and calm attitude
- Previous experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting
- Adaptable to working with children with vulnerable backgrounds
- An individual with good knowledge of Safeguarding and Keeping Children Safe in Education
- Be passionate about helping students to succeed academically, emotionally, socially
- Have a calming presence and be able to engage well with the pupils (EYFS to Year 6)
