We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established specialist school in Surrey that supports pupils aged 7–19 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).
Due to continued growth, they are looking to welcome a dedicated Occupational Therapist to their experienced multidisciplinary team.

The Role
Working as part of an integrated therapy team alongside education staff and other healthcare professionals, you will assess, plan and deliver occupational therapy interventions that enable pupils to achieve greater independence, participation and success in their education and daily lives.
You will have the opportunity to work with children and young people presenting with a range of sensory processing, motor coordination and functional needs, contributing directly to their educational outcomes and overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess pupils\' occupational performance and identify individual needs.
- Develop and implement personalised therapy programmes and intervention plans.
- Deliver both individual and group occupational therapy sessions.
- Support the development of sensory strategies and environmental adaptations within the school.
- Work closely with teachers, teaching assistants, speech and language therapists and families.
- Contribute to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), reports and annual reviews.
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional standards.
- Promote best practice and contribute to the ongoing development of therapy services.
About You
- Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), or eligibility to register.
- Newly qualified Occupational Therapists are encouraged to apply.
- Experienced Occupational Therapists with a background in paediatrics, SEND, education or neurodevelopmental conditions are also welcomed.
