Teaching Personnel are currently working with a welcoming school in the Callington area who are seeking a confident and proactive Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team.

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 in the absence of the class teacher
  • Support pupils’ learning in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
  • Assist with planning, preparation, and classroom organisation
  • Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to support a range of needs
  • Provide feedback on pupil progress and behaviour

Requirements:

  • Holds HLTA status or significant experience as a Teaching Assistant
  • Confident leading whole class sessions
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Experience supporting children with SEN is desirable
  • A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude
