Teaching Personnel are currently working with a welcoming school in the Callington area who are seeking a confident and proactive Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team.
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 in the absence of the class teacher
- Support pupils’ learning in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Assist with planning, preparation, and classroom organisation
- Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to support a range of needs
- Provide feedback on pupil progress and behaviour
Requirements:
- Holds HLTA status or significant experience as a Teaching Assistant
- Confident leading whole class sessions
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Experience supporting children with SEN is desirable
- A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude
