Are you an energetic, sporty Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role where every day is different? We are seeking enthusiastic and active TAs to work across a variety of schools in the Rhondda Cynon Taff area. This may include SEN schools or supporting children with ALN (Additional Learning Needs). About the Role
- Support pupils across Primary, Secondary, or SEN settings.
- Provide tailored assistance to children with ALN, which may include ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning delays.
- Use sport, movement, and active tasks to engage and motivate learners.
- Assist teachers with classroom activities, small-group support, and behavioural regulation.
- Build positive, nurturing relationships with pupils to help them achieve academically and emotionally.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Sporty, energetic, and confident leading active learning sessions.
- Patient, adaptable, and passionate about supporting diverse learners.
- Able to quickly build supportive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Positive, reliable, and eager to contribute to a team environment.
- Experienced with ALN/SEN (beneficial but not essential).
