We are collaborating with a local specialist school to provide learning support for pupils with additional needs. The school caters to students aged 3-19, with a diverse range of needs. Experience in working with additional needs is beneficial and will help candidates to quickly adapt and contribute effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Engagement: Ensure pupils are engaged and motivated during lessons.
- Personal Care: Assist with personal care tasks as needed, including toileting and feeding.
- Behaviour Management: Implement appropriate techniques to manage challenging behaviour.
- Training Participation: Attend relevant training and courses as required.
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS: Must have an Enhanced DBS (we can assist with this process).
- EWC Registration: Must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (we can assist with this process).
- Experience: Relevant personal or professional experience in the SEN sector.
- Safeguarding: Level 2 in Safeguarding (we can assist with this process).
