We are pleased to be advertising this vacancy on behalf of a lovely primary school in the BL0 area. The school is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 class from 23rd February until the end of the academic year, potentially being extended further onto a contract.
About the Role
- Supporting children within a Year 4 class, both in groups and on a 1:1 basis when required
- Assisting with classroom activities, behaviour management, and learning interventions
- Working closely with the class teacher and wider school staff
- Helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Previous experience supporting pupils in Key Stage 2 (KS2)
- A proactive, supportive, and nurturing approach
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
