Are you an experienced and resilient teacher looking for a rewarding challenge? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher to join one of our Pupil Referral Units in the Bury area. This role involves working with children who present with challenging behaviour and as a result have not been able to manage in mainstream settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum and individual EHCPs.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
- Build strong rapport with pupils to support their academic and personal development.
- Carry out all usual teaching duties, including planning, assessment, and reporting.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential.
- Previous experience working in PRUs or with pupils displaying challenging behaviour.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Patience, resilience, and a commitment to making a positive impact.
