Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a skilled and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support a Reception class within a welcoming primary school in the BL8 area. This role is ideal for an experienced practitioner who is confident delivering phonics sessions and leading learning, while making a meaningful impact during the vital early stages of a child's education. This is a full-time position, initially offered on a temporary basis, with strong potential to progress into a long-term opportunity.

What the Role Will Involve:
- Leading high-quality phonics sessions in line with the school's chosen scheme
- Supporting the Class Teacher and SENCo to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment
- Delivering targeted interventions for individuals and small groups to boost early reading skills
- Contributing to planning, assessment, and tracking pupil progress
- Promoting a positive learning environment and supporting behaviour management
- Working collaboratively with staff to maintain high standards across EYFS
What We're Looking For:
- Level 3 Qualification required
- Strong, proven experience delivering phonics (e.g. Read Write Inc, Letters and Sounds, Little Wandle or similar)
- Previous experience within EYFS, ideally Reception
- Confident leading groups and whole-class sessions
- A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
