Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a specialist Secondary SEMH School in Bury to recruit a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant for a full-time role starting in September, with the opportunity to begin sooner for the right candidate.

About the SchoolThis specialist secondary provision supports students aged 11-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The RoleAs a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will work closely with students throughout the school day, providing consistent support, encouragement, and guidance. You will help pupils regulate emotions, manage behaviour positively, and remain engaged in learning. You will build strong professional relationships with students, becoming a trusted adult and positive role model who helps them navigate challenges and celebrate successes.
Key Responsibilities- Support students with SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
