Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming and well-established specialist education setting in Bury to recruit a nurturing and proactive Teaching Assistant. This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with additional needs, helping them to access learning and thrive in a positive, inclusive environment. You will work closely with teaching and senior staff to provide classroom support, assist with behaviour management, and contribute to a safe and engaging learning atmosphere. The role includes supporting both individuals and small groups, inside and outside the main classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
