We are currently recruiting for a full-time Cover Supervisor to support within a specialist secondary provision in Bury. This role would suit someone confident leading a classroom and managing behaviour, even if they do not currently hold a teaching qualification.
Responsibilities
- Delivering pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining structure
- Supporting pupils with additional needs
- Ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absence
- Working flexibly across different subject areas
Qualifications
- Previous school or youth work experience
- Strong communication and classroom presence
