Are you a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner looking for flexible work or a long-term role within a supportive nursery setting? Teaching Personnel are currently working closely with a number of welcoming and well-established nurseries in and around Ormskirk, with opportunities available across the wider West Lancashire area including Burscough, Skelmersdale, and surrounding locations.
We are looking for qualified EYFS practitioners who are confident working in ratio and can provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0–5.
The role
- Supporting nursery settings on either a flexible supply basis or in longer-term, consistent placements, depending on your preference.
- Delivering engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework.
- Supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing.
- Carrying out observations, assessments, and learning journeys.
- Acting as a key person where required.
- Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment at all times.
Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant).
- Confident working within EYFS ratios.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
- Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
- A genuine passion for supporting early childhood development.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Please note: Only candidates with a Level 3 qualification recognised for EYFS ratios will be considered for these roles.
