About the Role

As our Year 5 Teacher, you will

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Monitor, assess and track pupil progress, using data effectively to inform teaching.
  • Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for all children.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and school events.
  • The Successful Candidate Will Have
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5.
  • A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • High expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • A positive, flexible and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
