We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ learning, development and wellbeing, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Contract: Full-time
Salary: £14.25 - £15 per hour
- Support teaching and learning across KS1, working with individuals and small groups
- Assist pupils with literacy, numeracy and early learning skills
- Help to create a safe, engaging and nurturing classroom environment
- Support children with additional needs where required
- Promote positive behaviour and support pupils’ social and emotional development
Requirements:
- Experience working with children aged 5–7 (school-based experience preferred)
- Good understanding of the KS1 curriculum (desirable)
- Holds a relevant TA qualification (Level 2 or 3 desirable, but not essential)
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
