We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Sports Coach to work across a network of primary schools in Burnley from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about physical education and supporting children’s development across the primary age range.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality sports and physical activity sessions to pupils aged 4–11, working across multiple primary school settings. The role involves:

  • Delivering engaging and inclusive sports sessions across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • Supporting pupils of varying abilities to participate and develop skills
  • Working across multiple primary school sites in Burnley
  • Promoting teamwork, confidence, and healthy lifestyles
  • Assisting with PE lessons, extracurricular clubs, and enrichment activities
  • Providing positive behaviour management and ensuring a safe learning environment
  • Collaborating with school staff to support pupil development

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children (essential)
  • Relevant qualification in sport, coaching, or physical education (essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt sessions for different ages and abilities
  • Positive, energetic, and professional approach
  • Willingness to travel between school sites
