A welcoming and supportive primary school is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team from September.

This part-time role will involve working with Year 5 and Year 6 pupils who require additional support, delivering targeted intervention sessions to help children close learning gaps, build confidence and achieve their full potential.

  • Deliver small group and targeted intervention lessons in Year 5 and Year 6.
  • Provide support in English and mathematics for pupils requiring additional assistance.
  • Assess progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
  • Work closely with class teachers and school leaders to ensure positive outcomes for pupils.
  • Create a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
  • Demonstrates a passion for supporting pupils with additional learning needs.
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
