We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurture Teaching Assistant to join our Primary School and support the emotional, social, and academic development of pupils within our nurture provision. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who require additional support to thrive in a mainstream school environment.

Contract Type: Full-time

Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored interventions in a small-group nurture setting.
  • Support pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, helping them build confidence and resilience.
  • Assist with planning and delivering engaging activities that promote positive relationships and learning.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued.

About You:

  • Experience working with children with additional needs (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, patient, and positive in challenging situations.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s wellbeing and learning.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) or willingness to train.
